The declaration of independence of the United States of America and the Declaration of the rights of man are similar in some ways. But they are also different in some ways. They have basically the same message premise, that when men are born they have certain rights, the government is there to preserve those rights and several other things. This fundamental difference sums up the fact that though these two documents are similar they were created for two wholely different purposes. The American declaration was created to start a war of independence from England, and the French Declaration was created to serve as an example as how human rights should be in that country.
