Tsar Nicholas ii had absolute power and believed in autocracy. Many groups had tried to persuade or force him to share power. Most Russians lived in poverty even before the First World War which was one cause of the downfall of the Tsar's government. Many of the Russian people disliked the way that the Tsar ruled. …showed last 75 words of 482 total…that is shown, I have come to the conclusion that I think that the main reason for the Tsarist government being overthrown is the autocracy and the Tsar Wanting no help in his rule was a selfish thing because when he needed help most, the rule was in the wrong hands. This slowly led to all the other problems and issues. Tsar was also commander in chief and this made him be blamed for everything.
