When the head of the SA was asked if his Storm Troopers were responsible for the fire answered "If I said Yes, I'd be a bloody fool, if I said no I'd be a bloody liar." The SA clearly had access to incendiary materials as they made a habit of setting fire to election displays of rival political groups. It makes sense but there is no proof that ties the SA to Lubbe.
