I saw patterns and similarities with a number of attacks and as a result, I developed a definition by stating these characteristics. I also came up with this definition as a way of helping others understand why such acts of terror take place. I hope that after listing the traits I found terrorism to have I have succeeded in presenting an effective definition of terrorism.
