But when taking into context that this book was written over 600 years ago, and most of the knowledge that we think of as "obvious" was thought up by this man. Until he took the initiative to write this work, the guidelines of ruling were unsure by most, and many rulers fell victim to not appeasing their subjects due to the mistakes stated.
