Urbanization is the increase in the percentage of the population residing in cities. Presently, forty-five percent of the world's population is urban. This figure represents industrial and traditional society. Urban areas make up one third of traditional society, and three fourths of industrial society. These two societies also share some similarities. People will always move to the big city in hopes of making their life better. But in reality most of the people will suffer due to the lack of employment, housing, and government aid.
