Not only did Ford's development offer a better method of transportation to the public, but it helped our emergency services such as fire engines, police cars, and ambulances get to their scenes quicker possibly saving more people. Without the Wright brothers ideas World War I could have been drastically different because of the importance of airplanes for the United States and their allies during the war.
