The Balkans have been known as place of conflict since its first population. Historic records show that most, if not all of the great European empires have originated or occupied the Balkans. These empires are not just of other nation-states but were religions as well. This dark history of occupation and persecution could be seen as the same as the reasons for the America Revolution. …showed last 75 words of 668 total…associate of mine thought of was if the economy were to be reinforced and the people of this region were to have steady jobs than the conflicts would stop. The logic behind it is that if people are working overtime and worrying about how their children are doing in school, and the children have reasons to go to school than they do not have time to worry about how their neighbors are different from them.
