Ecstasy seems to be a drug that is on an unstoppable roll these days. With the attention that it has been given it seems that the media is almost advertising the drug. The government and DEA are trying desperately to control ecstasy and stop usage of what they call a very dangerous drug. I have never tried ecstasy myself nor heard any first-hand stories, so all I have to run on is what the media

to be something new. Anti-drug campaigns are failures waiting to happen. The government needs to realize that to stop drug abuse the source of the problem must be neutralized. When a bunch of college kids from Arizona can get a hold of all the chemicals needed to make ecstasy without a hitch, there is not enough effort put in to control production. The solution to controlling MDMA is as simple as that; stop the source.
