…showed last 75 words of 597 total…even if she could not sleep. They started acting like a cooperative family. This shows maturity not only from Mary Willis, but from all of them. By the end of this novel, she showed a great amount of emotional maturity. She actually worked with Love instead of pushing her away. She also showed that she did not care what people thought by deciding to go to New York. She even stood up to her dad!
