developing in other foreign countries, the United States government needs to show more concern for the hard working men and women who make up the armed forces. Low pay and inadequate benefits will not keep the soldier and his family in the military. They will leave for higher paying jobs in the private sector. This is not what the United States needs if national security and global peace are to be accomplished in the future.
