…showed last 75 words of 1006 total…his choice that makes all the difference. With this in mind, the last stanza's tone, then, is really a matter-of-fact one and not so much a self-pitying one. Someone cannot possibly know, when they make a choice, what the result of their decision will ultimately be. I believe that instead of feeling remorse for choosing the untravelled road, the narrator seems to be saying that he would most likely just do the same thing again.
