The Japanese claim that the Sino-Japanese War was just another slap to protect their younger Asian brother and to show love. The civilians that died for the country because of many atrocities was not, in my opinion, a show of affection; three hundred thousands people killed by ruthless soldiers for no reason at all is not a war, its genocide.
