The Supreme Court remanded the lower courts decision and found him not guilty. Justice Rehnquist said Mr. Flint had a fundamental right under the first amendment to speak one's mind freely even if it was unpopular speech. Mr. Flint finally won his freedom to speak his mind and to print whatever obscene pictures he wanted.
