The lost world was written to entice the minds of nonbelievers. Michael Crichton the author shows what could happen if science was to progress to such a high height. A few scientists go looking for an island where supposedly these are live dinosaurs. Once on the island the adventurers find out that they are truly in for adventure of a lifetime. Only one thing could have stopped these three heroes from coming out on top, and that was boundaries they would have set for themselves. One may conclude from this story that going to far away island where prehistoric animals live can be dangerous. Especially when the animals are dinosaurs. When in a lost world always know where you are, don't get lost!
