…showed last 75 words of 242 total…when the Assembly was not. Also me serving on the Boule were limited to only two one year terms much like the limitations set on Congress today. It is quite obvious taht the founding fathers looked to Athens when creating our own government. Athens' devotion to the public good as well as the sharing of political authority and the the choosing of representatives must have seemed very appwaling after the tyrannical rule of Great Britain.
