I chose the play The Importance of Being Ernest by Oscar Wilde to read and respond to for Theatre Appreciation class. The people of today have the inner need to lie and create this god-like image of self that hides the beautiful person they are inside. We also narrow our choices in deciding not to talk to a certain "type" of person. In reality we maybe missing out on a truly great person and could pass up the opportunity of a lifetime.
