very factors, that outlines our world to be anything but a utopia. Though this is the case, in The Matrix the matrix in fact is a utopia as it is able to keep people under control. People live their lives daily without knowing what has actually happened in the real world. The only actual problem with the matrix is that the sentient programs are able to manipulate the matrix thus causing a problem of control.
