As a budding student of psychology, my early education focused largely on Freudian conceptions. I find Freud's and ideas and focuses to be very accurate and interesting. I do believe that many of his theories require 'updating' to be effective in therapy in today's society. I however would incorporate a more modern and personalized view on the therapist/client relationship. Based on my personal experience (my own experience as a client) I feel the need to be more personable with my clients in order to relate and give a sense of equality to the relationship. <Tab/>
