Socrates made Euthyphro contradicts himself many times and proved to Socrates that he really didn't know the answer to his question. Socrates method of asking question after question proves to many that they don't have the knowledge they think they possess and also proved that both Euthyphro and Socrates both weren't sure of the question of piety.
