Merriam Webster defines objectivity as expressing or dealing with facts or conditions as perceived without distortion by personal feelings, prejudices, or interpretations. Objective journalism, as defined by the book is fact driven journalism. In general I believe, it is impossible for a journalist to be completely objective because journalists are human and humans are subjective by nature. I believe it is not possible for a journalist to be objective because there is always a certain biased that is going to be presented in an article by a journalist. I believe as long as human beings gather and disseminate the news; subjectivity will be the rule, not the exception.
