Night Essay During World War II, the prisoners in the numerous concentration camps scattered around Europe were put to the test not only physically, but also mentally. The SS troops, Germany's private police force and Hitler's bodyguards, administered the camps and made the "undesirables'" lives even more difficult. …showed last 75 words of 1209 total…concentration camps of World War II left many people unhealthy, socially challenged, hopeless and dehumanized. Either that or dead. The effects that the World War had on so many people and the total sum of deaths is devastating, something that the world should keep in mind for the future. Let's just hope that history does not repeat itself and that the human race has learned from the past events and will prevent them from reoccurring.
