National History Day Since the seventh grade, I have competed in National History Day (NHD). Of all my high school activities, it is from this academic competition that I have learned the significant value of dedication, persistence, and knowledge through intensive research. From National History Day, I firmly believe in teaching and sharing whatever information you obtain, for, with spreading history, we breathe life into the facts. The impersonal becomes exciting tidbits to be passed on down the generations. National History Day has shown me the importance of academic scholarship.
