Lord of the Flies written by William Golding puts a twist on another novel called Coral Island. Stranded on a dessert island, a group of boys has to learn how to survive. No body listened to Simon and in the end; the one who suffered from the evil was Simon. Golding showed the true human nature through the themes of power, the need of civilization, and the fear of the unknown. In each example the themes made me think of how human nature is to sin.
