Regardless if one supports a writer's position or not, no one has the authority to censor such a position. Yes, words and ideas can be dangerous. But the suppression of words and ideas is even more dangerous. "The suppression of ideas is fatal to a democratic society. Freedom itself is a dangerous way of life, but it is ours" (ALA 139).
