Despite the fact that "Pride and Prejudice" isn't a roller coaster of a novel, it is still wonderfully readable. While reading it you will find yourself turning the next page with anticipation knowing that nothing much will happen until you've regrettably reached the end of the book. Being able to achieve this is a rare gift in which many modern writers are a little wanting.
