a child, and my ex-boyfriend reinforced this idea when I gained weight after high school. As an overweight person, one is constantly having limitations put on oneself. "You've got such a pretty face," instead of just "You're pretty." Instead of simply being a person, you're a fat person. Being overweight is an obstacle in our society, but if enough of us realize the harm it does then maybe we can actually do something about it.
