1)What was the title, author, and context of your novel? "Fortress" was first published in 1980 by "Chatto, Bodley Head, Jonathan Cape", and written by Gabrielle Lord. I think it was written for two possible reasons. Firstly, "After The First Death" was published only a year before - a very similar text about kidnapping, male versus female, mental sickness, terrorism, and father son relationships. …showed last 75 words of 1150 total…the book was a picture book about cowboys and Indians from my child hood, and a "The Simpsons" episode where the children over run "Kamp Krusty" by becoming savages. And last of all the "Male Versus Female" issue was explained to me by "After The Last Death, and by the "Harry Potter" series. In "Harry Potter", Hermiony constantly has to break her female stereotype and prove to the males that she has skill and courage.
