…showed last 75 words of 589 total…which makes every shot extremely gorgeous. And man, director Victor Fleming sure packed his film with tons of marvelous shot. What about seeing the street covered with thousands of dying men, or watching Atlanta on fire? And then there's Max Steiner's glorious score, and so much more. The fact that it was filmed in 1939 is almost unbelievable. I think the movie Gone With the Wind deserves its place as the most popular film ever made.
