in this essay Ray Bradbury wrote this book to describe the evils of censorship and what it could lead to if it got totally out of control. In the end of the Coda he wrote, "And no one can help me. Not even you." He was amazed that people could be so ignorant as to think that they could please everybody and that the books would still have the same quality as they did before.
