My own personal experiment with "Ethnomethodology", the study of the way people make sense of their everyday surroundings.
My job was to find or create an experiment and break all the conventional norms and observe how people would react.

I think everybody in the elevator was thinking the same thing, but everybody was just waiting for somebody to say something.
Overall both experiments worked well, I guess a lot of people do not pay attention to the social rules until they are broken. Most people in general do not like it when you change their everyday surroundings.
