If it seems unlikely that an omniscient, omnipotent, omnimalevolent Demon created the world, then it is just as unlikely that an omniscient, omnipotent, omnibenevolent being created the world. It is likely that neither God nor the Demon exists, and the problem of evil and the problem of goodness wind up supporting the position of the atheist.
