Dave Matthews Band On April 12, 2002, I went to the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island to see one of my favorite groups the Dave Matthews Band. The band is comprised of Dave Matthews as lead vocalist, and electric/acoustic guitarist. Carter Beauford plays percussion, Steffan Lessard on the bass, Boyd Tinsley on the electric/acoustic violin, and Leroi Moore playing the baritone, alto, and tenor saxophone along with the flute. The show was the sixth time I?ve seen the band live and I can honestly say it has been more than worth it each time. This band is special because of the uniqueness and incredible talent of each individual and their uncanny ability to work with each other. I can?t wait to see them again this summer, outside at the tweeter center.
