I attended the Conservatory Orchestra concert on Friday night, April 4th 2003. The orchestra group was made up of about forty-five musicians and was conducted by Richard Barrett. The concert was held in Brooklyn College Whitman auditorium. The concert hall was not full so I chose the seat I liked, in the middle of the hall where I could see the most of the orchestra musicians. At the climax of the movement, the Cathedral music was heard again, and the work closed with an energetic coda alluding to the theme of the first movement. At the end of the concert the audience applauded a lot. I think everyone appreciated and enjoyed it as much as I did. I know in future I will go to such concerts with a big pleasure.
