The Americans and The Enduring Vision have entirely different views on the cause of the Pequot War. The Americans and The Enduring Vision have contrasting views on every element of the Pequot War. The Americans tends to look at things from an Indian point of view, while The Enduring Vision describes things from an English perspective. The only book that finds a happy medium is Land of Promise.
