As Columbus came upon the New World, his intensions were not noble. He had no thought in his mind about helping the natives, or helping others. In my opinion, his only goals were made to benefit himself, and to glorify him with fame. With all of his anger and greed built up, he is known in history by some for his noble woks. But as I look farther into history, I see not noble, but his hunger for an image, and for power, which turned his good thoughts into an act of genocide.
