The way we present ourselves to society often gives them a predetermined assumption of the type of person we are. Even though it's not always safe to assume a person's personality based on their appearance, people seem to do it anyways. Sometimes people are mistreated due to their appearance, but they purposely present themselves the way they do because of a choice to be unique. As a student in a fairly large high school, it

admit that they are a jock, nerd, prep, or hippie. They just assume these labels by being themselves. While it is wrong to label people by their appearance, a persons looks often reflect their personality. These examples are the most obvious personalities to categorize. One could go in depth and find a different stereotype for every individual in the world, but the average citizen would prefer to place all others in stereotypes, while excluding themselves.
