the current managed-float regime? Why?
I personally would prefer a fixed rate. With a fixed rate I can better gage my quarterly budgets and I know what to expect form an exchange in currency, and plans can be made accordingly. With a floating rate you only know short term and planning for the future with a method like that can prove to be very difficult.
