that can do the explaining? Although I do not fully agree with Percy and his view of the academic society, his ideas of "experts" and the "complex man" play a big role in todays society. Allowing more and more people to gradually become independent, and drifting away from the social groups they were once a part of. People need to start being more independent in their reading and interpreting, as well as their daily lives.
