been very good in Canada because of our close ties with the United States industries. NAFTA has helped us gain a strong political relationship with the Americans, which makes sense for Canada because of our proximity geographically as well as our similar cultures. Canada is too small to function efficiently on our own and it is imperative that we keep strong economic relations with our giant neighbors to the south to maintain strong political ties.
